Popular Bhojpuri singer Sharda Sinha passed away on Tuesday leaving the nation in shock. Sinha started her career by singing Maithili folk songs in 1980s, and went on to endorse Bhojpuri, Magahi and Hindi languages too. Her voice has remained an integral part of Bihar's big festival of Chhath Puja for decades, with tracks like Pehle Pahil Hum Kayeni.
