On Sunday, actor and director Revathy took to her official Instagram handle to praise Karthi and Arvind Swami's latest outing, Meiyazhagan. She wrote, "Wow what a beautiful feel-good film. Prem is a fabulously sensitive writer and director; this story could be anybody’s life. So many times we meet people whose name we forget but their goodness and simplicity stay with us. The honesty of the two actors is the strength of this film. Both Arvind Swamy and Karthi are a pleasure to watch. Every moment is so real. Such a pleasant real film amid so much commercial content. Jealous of such beautiful storytellers and film-makers. Kudos to the team and to 2D to once again bring a movie that is heartfelt." (sic)
