Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Re-release Date: Marking the Kannada Rajyotsava prestigious event, the epic historical movie starring Darshan in the title role, Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna is now gearing up for a re-release with a touch of technical advancements. The movie won many awards including a Filmfare and has a voice-over by Kichcha Sudeepa.
The movie is based on the life of notable freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna, who hails from Belagavi of Karnataka and revolted against the British. Known for his bravery, his story of life and death made it to the celluloid as a biopic. The movie recovered its production cost and ran for about 100 days across various theatres in Karnataka making about Rs 40 Crore at the box office.
