The movie started off at the box office with solid positive word-of-mouth from the premieres. On November 8, a grand success meet was held in Hyderabad, marking the epic break-even achievement within four days of its release. KA movie became the first biggest blockbuster hit for Kiran Abbavaram by earning over Rs 40 Crore towards the end of its successful theatrical run.
