The first-look of Marco, headlined by Unni Mukundan, will be out on June 16 at 10:10 AM. Announcing the same on social media, the makers' post was captioned, "Caution⚠ Carnage ahead🩸 Mark your calenders on June 16th for the First Look Poster!"
Marco is the spin-off of Mikhael, also directed by Haneef. The 2018 film had Nivin Pauly as the titular lead and Unni as the antagonist, Marco Jr. It will delve into Marco's past and introduction to the world of crimes. The makers have claimed it to be the most violent film ever made in Malayalam. It will also be out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages.
