Police have been questioning him and 16 other accused in the murder case. A report on Sakshi stated that he paid Rs 30 Lakh for one of the accused in the official statement he gave to the cops.
The latest development in the case states that Darshan had confessed to having paid Rs 30 Lakh to a man named Pradesh to dispose of the body of Renuka Swamy. In addition, he allegedly gave Rs 5 lakh to two of the four accused men to take the blame for the murder, according to the reports.
