Noted Carnatic singer-flautist Varijashree Venugopal, originally from Bengaluru has bagged Grammy nominations in the category of ‘Best Global Music Performance.’ Along with her, five other Indian-origin artists including three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej, Anoushka Shankar, Radhika Vekaria, Chandrika Tandon and Noshir Mody have bagged the nomination for this year's Grammy award.Noted Carnatic singer-flautist Varijashree Venugopal has secured a nomination for Grammy awards in the category of ‘Best Global Music Performance.’
